The floating lid is designed for extra storage.We add extension straps to your lid so you can raise it higher, thus allowing you to pack your Bergan to maximum capacity. It Can be lowered to 'normal' position when not required. We insert a DPM or MTP fabric depending on the colour of the Bergan so you won't lose any kit out the back of the lid when in the raised position!
We only fit 2 straps on as standard as the third strap tends to catch on the centre back of the head
the floating lid, along with the lid pouch option can add up to approx 50 litres of storage extra to your bergan.
