The Dixies Corner backpad has been designed to give you high support across your spine, and prevent your bergan digging into you and causing rub. We use a spacer mesh fabric which is lightweight, crush resistant, and allows the air to circulate and does not retain water.
We do not sew mesh into the bergan as we feel this causes the bergan to mis- shape, and does not allow the air to circulate freely. Our back padder is sewn onto the bergan allowing good air flow and preventing build up of prickly heat.
