From the West / Llandovery

Take the A40 towards Brecon. After approximately 8 miles you will reach a long stretch of straight road, with a left turn signposted 'Llywel'. Take this turning (which is opposite a derelict garage and motel), and follow the road (which is a military dual carriageway) to the top of the hill (approx 1.5 miles). There is a signpost to the Dixies Corner in the middle of the road with a turning to the Right down a track. (There is also a sign for Fedw at the top). Follow the signs to the Dixies Corner to the end of the track.

From the East / Brecon / Sennybridge

Take the A40 towards Llandovery. Go straight through the villages of Sennybridge and Trecastle. Approximately half a mile outside of Trecastle, take the second turning to the right signposted 'Llywel'. This road is a military dual carriageway. Follow the signs for Dixies Corner right to the top of the hill (approx 1.5 miles). There is a signpost to Dixies Corner in the middle of the road with a turning to the Right down a track. (There is also a sign for Fedw at the top). Follow the signs to the Dixies Corner to the end of the track.

From the South / Cardiff / Swansea

Take the A470 towards Brecon. A few miles past Storey Arms / Pen y Fan car parks, at the end of a long stretch of straight road, take the left turn onto the A4215 towards Defynnog. At the T Junction, turn right following signs for Sennybridge. At the next T Junction turn left onto the A40 towards Llandovery. Go straight through the villages of Sennybridge and Trecastle. Approximately half a mile outside of Trecastle, take the second turning to the right signposted 'Llywel'. This road is a military dual carriageway. Follow the signs for Dixies Corner right to the top of the hill (approx 1.5 miles). There is a signpost to the Dixies Corner in the middle of the road with a turning to the Right down a track. (There is also a sign for Fedw at the top). Follow the signs to Dixies Corner to the end of the track.

From the North / Builth Wells

If you don't know the area it's easiest to get to us via either Llandovery or Brecon along the A40, following the signs given above. The other option is to come over the Epynt ranges following the Tirabad to Llywel road. The turning to Dixies Corner is just the other side of the cattle grid as you leave the ranges.

Due to our Rural location, Sat-Nav's don't work so well and may send you to a variety of places! Use it to get you in the vacinity, then follow the signs to get you to Dixies Corner. If in doubt, please ring us as we can direct you in!
