We are a small, but very busy family run business which designs, manufactures, and retails products to both the public and Military Personnel. We also manufacture for the MOD on request. Our company Director Graham Butt served 22 years in the Army and was making, designing, and repairing kit whilst still serving. He now uses his expertise to help soldiers adapt their kit to make it more functional and comfortable.
We are up in the Welsh hills, just beside the Epynt Ranges near Sennybridge Camp. Full Directions to get to us are on the ‘Directions’ page of our website. We are named after a well known meeting place on the range called Dixies Corner.
Dixies Corner Military Supplies is a subsidiary of the main business, called Llwynon Saddlery Ltd. We started up as a saddlery back in 1995. During this time our company director, Graham Butt was getting increasing requests to repair soldiers kit as we had the industrial sewing machines to do so because of the saddlery business. Since then the military section has grown and expanded considerably and is now a flourishing business, with an extremely busy workshop team upstairs!
We pride ourselves on our quick turnaround time for both repairs, alterations, and design and manufacturing. General turnaround time is usually about 48 hours, although this depends greatly on how much work we’ve got in. It may be slightly longer if we have just had a whole unit bring their bergans to us at the same time! Smaller repairs can often be done while you wait, and we even have a tea room here so you can wait in comfort!
We offer a very ‘Soldier-Friendly’ service and we know that you often can’t be without your kit, hence the quick turnaround time. We are also very aware that you can’t always get to us during normal shop hours, so we can open up out of hours if essential. You must ring us first though to make sure we’re here!
We can design products for individual soldiers, so if you need something that you can’t buy ‘off the peg’ then we can often help. Please note product design and manufacturing is a time-consuming job though, and as such is not a cheap or quick option. However if you really want something you can’t buy off the shelf then this is a great option.
You can send us your kit through the post, and can even order and pay for your alterations online, making it much easier to get your kit altered without having to bring it up to us in person. We can then post it back to you. See our separate page for more info on this service. We can post to BFPO addresses, and will be able to zero rate your goods if you qualify for VAT Free purchases.
